1971 GMC Sierra Grande.
It has the original 350 with turbo 350 trans. factory air conditioning , black carpeting, ps/pb, and the houndstooth interior with the woodgrain inserts. It has all the options that were available except tilt wheel.
My father was the consummate GMC fan he had loved these trucks since the 50's when he first drove a 1955 task force with the factory Pontiac engine.
He was one never to
boast or brag on his ,but more than once when attending shows you would hear
someone in the crowd say "wow did you see that old GMC in the
parking lot" he would smile ear to ear and go on his way viewing others
.If someone needed information on these he was more than willing to help with
it, even procuring parts for people didn't faze him. His summer days were
often spent either restoring or detailing his truck. If anyone was ever a true
die-hard GMC fan Dad was one! I am sure he still looks upon us and admires all
of the old GMC trucks here. I will always treasure the hours we spent together
working on these. Dad left a lifetime of precious memories with everyone who
